Pastor Zora Hunt is the daughter of Minister Marilyn Dixon, the late Deacon Jim Dixon and Bishop C.D. Gearing, Jr. Pastor Hunt is a native of Gainesville, Ga., and currently resides in Dacula, GA. She is married to Deacon Bobby Hunt and they are the parents of twin daughters Trinity Alese Hunt & Angel Marie Hunt. She graduated from Emmanuel College with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Business Administration in 2000, and is employed in management with a Fortune 14 Global Medical Company. 

While attending Emmanuel, Pastor Hunt accepted her call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and was licensed to preach in September of 1999 and ordained in 2010 at Zion Full Gospel World Ministries (Doraville, GA). Pastor Hunt continued to work in the ministry at her home church Antioch Baptist Church (Gainesville, GA) as well as other church ministries as a profound preacher/teacher, dance ministry coordinator, youth department minister for not only her home church but also coordinator of the first and following youth productions for the Greater Northwestern Baptist Association of

Georgia. 

She was blessed to assist in the ministry at the Canton Lighthouse Ministries (Canton, GA) founded by her Father and in six months received her inheritance from him and was ordained in August 2010 and installed as Pastor of the Canton Lighthouse Ministries in February of 2011. While pastoring the Canton Lighthouse, God was birthing in Pastor Hunt a ministry that would change lives forever. It would be a ministry where

you wouldn’t see different things, but you would see things differently, and after attending, not leaving the same. After nine months of pastoring the Canton Lighthouse, God led Pastor Hunt to found and pastor Guiding Light Ministries, Inc. on November 11, 2011. Since the establishment of GLM, Pastor Hunt has been blessed to serve in preaching and teaching the Gospel and many lives have been touched by the realness of this ministry. Pastor Hunt has been in the gospel ministry for 27 years as of September of 2026 and pastoring for over 15 years. Pastor Hunt is passionate about serving God and her community.She has served as Vice President of the Interdenominational Black Ministers Association (IBMA) and currently serves on the executive board. She has entered into successful partnerships

with New Edge Media Productions, Hillside BBQ, Evans Music Productions, Men Alive, LLC, and Mayday Ministries. Pastor Hunt continues to strive to do God's will in Gainesville with presenting community worship experiences such as Queen City Worships, Young People's Cry, and the Get Loosed Conference. She is also one of the founding leadership team members of The Bridge that made Kingdom and Community

impact in the lives of the youth of Gainesville, Ga. God is doing amazing things in Pastor Hunt’s life and the life of GLM. She is an avid

and powerful preacher and teacher of the Gospel that has a passion to equip God’s people for the work of the ministry including deliverance ministry. Guiding Light Ministries scriptural motto and mission comes from Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.” Pastor Hunt draws inspiration daily from her favorite scripture, Philippians 3:13-14 “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one
